We just wanted to thank everyone for making it to our wedding - we were thrilled to see so many loving friends and family all in one place. There are a great many people whom we must thank profusely for helping to make the evening such a success, but there's no time! We've got a plane to catch! When we return from our honeymoon we'll busy ourselves with assembling photo albums, writing thank you cards and so forth, so please send us your photographs... we want to see more of your happy shining faces.

As you can probably imagine, when you're planning your own wedding there's no shortage of tasks to keep track of. So far, I think Marie and I have been doing a good job of treading somewhere between fanatical micromanagement and simply being "detail-oriented".

Would you like to help? If so, you out-of-towners could email me your flight information. That way we can potentially help out with transportation, ridesharing and so forth. We have spreadsheets to update, you know.

Morning-After Brunch

Perhaps we should have mentioned this along with the invitations, but we'll be hosting a Farewell Brunch on the morning of Sunday, June 1 - the day after the wedding. It will be at the same location, from 10:00am(ish) to 1:00pm(ish). So if you're still in the area and are experiencing an acute waffle deficiency, by all means drop by.

If You've Got Some Time To Kill While In California...

We've been pecking away at it for a while, but we've finally finished the "Bay Area" section of the website, listing some of our favorite things to do and see around San Francisco. It covers the city, wine country, and the East Bay, where we spend the majority of our time. We list far more places than anyone will have time to visit, I'm sure, but hopefully some of you will find it helpful. And if you have any questions regarding things to do around town, don't hesitate to toss us an email.

Airplane Tickets

Bought plane tickets yet? The wedding date is getting closer and our favorite low-cost airlines have recently put tickets up for sale for this coming summer. As I write this, you can fly round trip from New York and Washington to San Francisco for the weekend for between $300 and $350. I wouldn't count on those prices going down, so... I say go for it.

Also, be wary of any flights leaving early Sunday morning -- the wedding isn't exactly close to the airports, and I'm sure not going to wake up early to give you a ride.
